The free pad maker, with no account

Make a printable prescription pad with your details, logo, own text and layout, download it free, or pay ₹10 once for it without the rxkite.com line.

4 minute read

The free prescription pad maker makes a blank pad to print and fill in by hand: your name, qualifications, registration number and clinic across the top, a box for the patient's details, and a plain space for the prescription. It needs no account, and it uses the same pad builder as Pad & printing in the app.

Everything is drawn in your browser. Nothing you type, and no logo you add, is sent to RxKite. The pad stays in this browser, so it is still there when you come back.

1. Your details

Type them as they should print. Your registration number and council print under your name, as the Indian Medical Council Regulations ask for on every prescription. The clinic email is optional.

2. Paper and colours

  • Paper: A5 (148 × 210 mm, the usual Indian pad), A4 (office paper), Letter or Half letter.
  • Colours: eight colour schemes. Choose Black & white for a monochrome laser printer or a one-colour press.
  • Colour of your name: the pad's colour, one of eight that print well, or any colour from the picker at the end.
  • Text size: from 85% to 125%.

3. Logo and your own text

  • Add your logo: a JPG, PNG or SVG. Set its height with the slider. It stays in your browser; a very large logo is not kept after a reload, so add it again if you come back.
  • Your own text: up to six text fields, such as a motto, Complimentary, your timings or a line in your language. Each has its own size, bold and colour.

4. Arrange your pad

Drag Name & degrees, Clinic & contact, Clinic address line, Logo and each of your texts to the left, middle or right of a line in the header or footer, or to Not printed. Add up to three lines to each, and slide the two handles under a line to set its column widths. On a phone, drag by the grip (⋮⋮), or use each part's arrow buttons. Setting up your pad has more on arranging.

5. What to print

Turn the header, footer, patient details box and name & Reg. No. under the signature on or off, and add a note at the bottom of the page, such as when to go to hospital in an emergency. Highlight it puts it in a coloured band.

The prescription space is left plain, with no ruled lines.

6. Download

  • Download free PDF: the pad with a small Pad designed free at rxkite.com line at the foot of the page. Print as many as you like at home, or take the PDF to a press: it is vector, so it prints sharp at any size.
  • Without the rxkite.com line · ₹10: pay once by UPI, card or net banking through Razorpay, with no account, and the pad downloads without the line. Add your registration number first: the payment is tied to it.

For 30 days after paying, pads with the same registration number download without the line from the same browser at no further cost, even after you change the colours, fix a typo or make another size. A different registration number is a new payment.

Paid on another device, or cleared your browser? Type the same registration number, choose Paid already, on another device or before clearing this browser? and enter the payment ID from the receipt Razorpay emailed you. It starts with pay_.

Paid, but the page closed before the download? Open the pad maker again in the same browser and press the button again: once Razorpay confirms the payment, it downloads without asking you to pay. If it still asks after a few minutes, write to support@rxkite.com with the payment ID.

Want the pad filled in for you?

The pad maker makes a pad to write on by hand. RxKite fills it in: find the patient, type or pick the medicines, and print a legible prescription on this pad or on your own, with every visit kept on file.
